2027 7th Joint Summer College
Institutions, Discontent and Territorial Inequalities
Date and time
Summary
The seventh RSA Europe and University of Vilnius Summer College for PhD students and early career researchers brings together researchers in their early career, high-profile researchers, and policy experts to present the latest research, policy developments and insights on one of the most pressing questions in contemporary regional science: the complex interplay between institutional setting, discontent and territorial inequalities. Keynote presentations by experienced and high-profile researchers will be complemented with professional development sessions, in which PhD students and early career researchers will have the opportunity to present their research and collect feedback. The Summer College will be enriched by site visits to learn about how institutions characterised local development strategies and reduce territorial inequalities. The Summer College offers great opportunities for socialising and networking with a young and dynamic community from academia, experts in the field, and practitioners.
The Summer College is match-funded by RSA Europe and Vilnius University and thus free to attend for successful applicants. Transport and accommodation costs need to be covered by participants.
