Last week, we delivered the 2024 Summer College for PhD Students and Early Career Researchers held in partnership and at the GSSI – Gran Sasso Science Institute, L’Aquila, Italy. This year’s themes were Migration, Well-Being and Spatial Inclusion.

The College was a great success with a good mix of intense academic interventions, student presentations, professional development sessions, networking, social events, a fieldtrip to Lecce nei Marsi and a walking tour in L’Aquila and all this in glorious sunshine.

Photos of the College can be found on our Facebook page.

We like to thank the GSSI for hosting us and Alessandra Faggian and colleagues for the excellent partnership work.

Thank you also to our plenary speakers Özge Öner and Vicente Royuela, Annekatrin Niebuhr, Kiel University, Germany, Antonella Ferrara, Paolo Veneri, Maria Giovanna Brandano and Daniela Carl.
